J. Frank Monk has 50 years of experience in commercial and rural real estate as an owner and

brokerage professional. He has offices in Houston and Bellville, Texas. He provides clients

with a full range of services, including consulting, evaluation, analysis and transition recommendations required to successfully complete sales, leases and consultations. Mr. Monk specializes in land transactions and brings an expertise and awareness in complex transaction issues, such as riparian rights, projected yield and income of farmable tracts and 1031 Tax Exchanges.

Mr. Monk is an Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) of the REALTORS Land Institute

(RLI), which is headquartered in Chicago, IL and an affiliate of the National Associations of

Realtors. Recognized throughout North America as the pinnacle of achievement for land

real estate specialists, the ALC designation is awarded to RLI members who meet rigorous

knowledge and experience requirements. For the past two consecutive years, Mr. Monk was

honored with awards from the Realtors Land Institute for Land Transaction of The Year,

for both Texas and U.S.

Mr. Monk is active in the local, state, and national levels of various Realtor organizations.

He is a member of the Brenham/Bellville, South Central Board of Realtors, as well as the

Houston Association of Realtors and the RLI Texas Chapter. He has served in many leadership

capacities, including Court appointed Commissioner, State Highway 36 Condemnation,

South Central Board of Realtors (1997 President and former Director); 1996 Realtor of the

Year (South Central Board of Realtors); Austin County Appraisal District Director, Realtors

Land Institute Member; Director of Texas Chapter, Texas Listing Service, Lands of Texas

(Lands of America); Houston Community College (former real estate instructor); and member

of the Texas Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors.

Mr. Monks community involvement includes being an active member of the Austin County,

Prairie Chapter CCA; Cat Springs Wildlife Association; Member American Quarter Horse

Association; Member National Cutting Horse Association; Life Member and Committeeman,

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLS&R); Director Austin County Fair; Member Texas

and Southwestern Cattlemans Association: Director and past President of Bellvilles Industrial

Foundation; Austin County Commissioner, Austin County Drainage, District #1; and
