LETS MAKE A DEAL!! This unique stone building was originally the Manzanola Hotel and brothel. Imagine sneaking up to the third floor at the turn of the 20th century to dance! These were prohibition days! After the last waltz was over guests didn't have far to go to spend the night. Ten rooms were available for a nightly rate on the second floor. "Upstairs girls" were also available. Some loose floor boards indicate that some of the "girls" may have hidden their profits under carefully concealed floor boards. The 18 inch thick stone walls kept all activities very quiet. Many years later this building was remodeled to become a Nazarene church. It is now awaiting a new chapter in its life. Mansion? B & B? Limited only by your imagination!
