The 159 acre Willapa Timber Tract is located six miles southeast of Raymond, midpoint between Willapa River to the east and Willapa Bay to the west. Adjoining owners include DNR, and lands managed by FIA (Forest Investment Associates.) There is access from the C-500 and C-1000 roads to the southwest corner.
The tract has 53 acres of 9 year-old and 73 acres of 13 year-old red cedar and western hemlock reproduction. The Douglas-fir Site Index is 120.
Minnie Creek runs through a portion of the southwest part of the tract. Other nearby commercial forest lands are owned by Sierra Pacific Industries, Rayonier, and John Hancock Life Insurance.
