It adjoins B.L.M. and private rangeland with paved county road access. Wagonhound Creek is a seasonal drainage that has a spring fed subby bottom and adjoins a juniper and sandstone divide that is typical of the mountain foothills of the Bighorn Basin. Currently there are no roads on the property and it is unfenced with no improvements. Power is near the property.

Abundant wildlife in the area includes Deer, Antelope, Elk, as well as the common predators and small mammals of the area. Upland birds including Hungarian Partridge, Chukkar, and Sage Grouse are regular occupants of the property.
