HISTORY

This historic ranch was the pride and joy of the iconic Pro-Rodeo Hall of Fame stock contractor Harry Vold, known affectionately as the Duke of the Chutes. Historically this ranch produced the Born to Buck stock horses and bulls considered among the best in the rodeo world. Many have been honored as the bareback and saddle bronc horses of the year and bucking bull of the year by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. Harry is one of only two rodeo stock contractors that has provided rough stock for the National Finals since 1959. Harrys accomplishments and awards were to numerous to mention them all. That legacy continues with the extended Vold families providing rough stock for rodeos across the country still today.

The East portion of the ranch was once owned by the famous Gene Autry as part of his Flying A Ranch.

NOTES

This grass pastureland that is for sale is owned by the Harry Vold Trust. The Vold Rodeo Company is Not for Sale. The Rodeo Company has purchased another portion of the original ranch with facilities, improvements and pastureland.
