There are 4 water wells scattered throughout the ranch as well as miles of water lines which feed the improvements and troughs for livestock and wildlife.

IMPROVEMENTS: There is a main house which was built in the 80's that has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The original headquarters has several old historic rock buildings and barns plus a bunk house with a kitchen which was built in the 1920. TERRAIN: Although this property has lots of elevation change it is easy to get around and has a good road system in place. There are several roads that you can drive right down to the river. Numerous caves and rock overhangs are located on the property, two of which are named Big Tree Cave and Emerald Sink Cave. You will also find a treasure of Indian artifacts plus Indian hieroglyphs on several of the caves and rock over hangs.

VEGETATION: The ranch has a great mixture of brush with a good portion of the property offering much more nutrition to wildlife than your average Val Verde county ranch. Due to the rich environment, the brush and shrub species include guajillo, guayacon, prickly pear, black brush, white brush, persimmon, ceniza, ocotillo, iron wood, mesquite, cedar and much more. In several of the drainage's you will find mots of oak trees.

WILDLIFE: This wild ranch is loaded with wildlife which includes but is not limited to Whitetail deer, Bobwhite/Blue quail, Audad, Turkey, Javalina, Dove and there has been the occasional Mule deer spotted on the ranch as well. There have been several white tail deer on this ranch harvested that score over 160 inches. The Pecos River is loaded with fish including bass, catfish and perch plus many other aquatic species.
