The Smith Draw Ranch is located 8 miles north of Separ NM, which is a travel stop along I10 approximately 25 miles east of Lordsburg NM,35 mile west of Deming NM and 30 miles South of Silver City NM. The Ranch consists of 7760 acres deeded land with 11,275 acres NM State Grazing lease lands and 2560 acres BLM Grazing lands for a total of 33 sections, and will carry 300 cows on an annual basis. All improvements are in excellent repair, The Ranch is well watered with 10 wells, 6 solar,2 electric, 1 windmill,1 generator powered and several dirt tanks. Elevations range from 5000 feet in the lower levels to 6000 feet in the upper mountain country. Primary grasses consist of Gramma grasses, with tobosa in the lower levels, the lower levels does produce an abundance of filerie in wet springs.
