There's just something about this little farm that makes me think the next owners will have a true honey hole. The seller contacted me after he cut the timber looking for advice on making this property more attractive to hunters. We rolled in with the heavy equipment and got to work. There is now an extensive trail network throughout the propertymore trails than you'll ever need for hunting but perfect if you enjoy ATVs in the off-season. We cleared a large food plot area, about acre, in the SE corner of the property. There's a small spring that may run year-round, but with no definitive year-round water source, we decided to build a small pond in the corner of the food plot. This pond is perfect for wildlife but should fill up to be large enough that you can stock it with bluegill for the kid's enjoyment. Up front, we cleared a large area for a hunting cabin and parking. Utilities are right there, so a small prefab cabin could be dropped and hooked up easily after installing septic and setting meters. The owner is not a hunter, so I don't have any hunting history for this one; however, I've done this long enough to know a good one when I see it. Everything is done and ready for you to bring your stands, plant the food plot and hunt!
