Farmland: 1,306+/- acres of irrigation provides support to the feedyard for both feed and grazing opportunities. Currently the owner is utilizing 2,425+/- total gpm (1.86 gpm/wet acre) off of 32 electric submersible wells. Additional wells are in service and can be used for irrigation but are currently reserved to support the feedyard. Various sprinkler models range in age from older to 2024 model Reinkes. The balance of 1,229.17+/- acres is a mixture of grass, CRP, and dryland farm ground.
Feedyard/Headquarters: No expenses were spared on this newly constructed feedyard and farm headquarters. The yard offers 2,700 of concrete bunk and apron with a 5,000 head CAFO permit. All drains and lagoons are in compliance with the permit. A multiple bay commodity barn and heated processing barn are in place, as well as shades in multiple pens.
A 20 x 30 finished office sits at the 100 truck scales and behind it is a massive 135 x 75 insulated shop with lean-tos on each side. Multiple loads of caliche have been hauled in to make travel around the improvements all weather friendly.
