Scott Rd, East Tawas, MI 48730 - Iosco County

Approximately 39 rolling acres of hunting land in Iosco County, located 5.5 miles north of East Tawas and a mile and a half west of US23. Property is a combination of pines, poplars, birch and some oaks up front. This area is also home to some dense knee high ground cover of bushes and ferns. Would think this makes some nice bedding areas for the whitetails. Noticed plenty of deer runways winding their was thru both the pine woods and openings. With a little TLC those openings could be great areas for food plots.

The back part of this one is a combination of swamp grasses, some scattered bushes, and water holes. I don't believe this area is all wet as I was able to watch a couple groups of deer wander their way NW across the area and into the neighbors woods. However, I think when we catch up on our normal rainfall amounts there should be some nice water filled potholes and likely some pretty good duck hunting.

The property is to be accessed via a newly recorded 66' ingress / egress easement running in off Scott Rd. The easement is a short one, approximately 160' or so in length. Copies of the surveyed easement are available on request. There is also a two - tracked railroad that crosses the SE corner of the parcel. Currently no electric to the property, but solar or generator are always an option if you need to power the deer camp.

Lots of things to do in the area, Only a short drive south to the beaches and amenities at Tawas or north to Oscoda and the AuSable River.

You'll need to have an appointment and a real estate agent with you to walk the land. I'd suggest a compass or an aerial mapping app on your phone for getting around the property. The south property line has been surveyed and there is an old wire fence running along that edge in places.
