Peyton Mercer was born and raised in Twin City, Georgia where he graduated from Emanuel County Institute in 2018. Peyton grew up going to Twin City First Baptist Church, where he is currently a member and is actively involved in Brotherhood. Prior to graduating from ECI, Peyton worked with his father on the family farm, Mercer Farms, as well as the timber business, Mercer Timberland Management Services (MTMS). His experience and love for the outdoors influenced him to pursue a career in forestry.After graduating from high school, Peyton was accepted to the University of Georgia, where he studied forestry to obtain his BSFRS degree from the Warnell School of Forestry in 2021 while playing football for UGA.Peyton has worked for Battle Lumber in procurement and works at MTMS helping landowners achieve their goals with their property. Peytons love for the outdoors, knowledge of timber, people skills, and the intangibles that cant be taught- passion, work ethic, tenacity, ambition, and honesty will help him to be a great asset to his clients.Peyton lives in Twin City, Georgia with his wife Cassidy.
