Cattle Facilities

The yard has a practical capacity of 33,000 head but has a CAFO permit of 35,000 head. There is 24,859 of bunk. There is a modern processing barn with a hydraulic chute and concrete work alleys. Three hospital barns on the property are all equipped with hydraulic chutes and working tubs. There is a set of 68 cattle scales. Receiving / loadout facility includes an angled holding pen and a double-deck truck chute. Pens are serviced by Johnson concrete waterers.

Feedmill

The ration mixing process is a simple design including flat commodity storage with mixer trucks charged by an end loader. There is 7,703,000 pounds of grain storage, with a 3,000 bushel pit, and a 12,000 bu./hr. grain leg. Grain is processed by a Denver dry roll. There is a 105,000 pound molasses tank and two 119,000 pound fat tanks. All are insulated and heated. There are two 170,000 pound supplement tanks.

Other Facilities

A 3,200 SF modern office building includes two work areas and five private offices. There is a cowboy break room, a large eight-stall horse barn with storage, and an additional horse barn. A two-bay shop is equipped with a sump, chain lift, and parts room. There is onsite fuel storage with spill containment. There are 103 tillable acres with one small pivot.

Water and Environmental

There are three wells that are all tied together with 273,000 gallons of water storage. CAFO permit is for 35,000 head through July 20, 2024. There are three retention ponds that can be dewatered to irrigated land.
