Bring the Camper, Tents or RV and be prepared to enjoy the outdoors and do some exploring and hunting for minerals. This is a great area to pan when there is water or explore the run off when it is dry. Here you have a great find, near Salida and within a short drive to Buena Vista Colorado (World Class White Water Rafting country) about 60 acres of Placer Claim, legally filed with the Federal Government and County Recorder. This is not a common find in the area. There is an adjoining area of about 60 acres also for sale. Bring your pan and metal detector and get ready. There are flat areas to stage/park on without an issue. There is visible minerals in the rock all over the area. Lots and lots of quartz.
