Willow Creek is a seasonal drainage out of the Fishlake National Forest and winds through the south end of the property, providing an ideal amenity next to a campsite. The northern aspect of the property is accessible through State and BLM land and State roads where access is available via side-by-side or 4WD. At the upper reaches of this property, a flat 15-acre plateau within Pinyon pines and juniper trees would make a perfect spot in which to build a cabin. This part of Utah is not as heavily traveled as other areas of Utah. The south end of the property off of Willow Creek Road sits at about 6,000 feet in elevation and the upper section of the ranch pushes over 7,000 feet. This property could be an ideal trade candidate for other properties owned by the U.S. Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management, or the State of Utah.

Evidence of wintering elk and deer is prominent on the northern portion of the property. Willow Creek Ranch lies within the Central Mnts, Manti hunt boundary. The adjacent 1.5 million-acre Fishlake National Forest features majestic stands of aspen surrounding open mountain meadows that are lush with a diverse community of forbs and grasses. Fish Lake, from which the forest takes its name, is considered by many to be the gem of Utah. The largest natural mountain lake in the state, it offers trophy fishing and bird watching. The mountains of the Fishlake are a source of water for many of the neighboring communities and agricultural valleys in the region.
