Recreational opportunities abound at Dyce Creek Ranch, which is home to large game species and offers easy access to vast Forest Service land.

The Dyce Creek Ranch consists of 797 deeded acres in Beaverhead County just east of the Dyce Creek Road. The property is about 1/3 improved native range, which lends itself to summer grazing for a small cattle herd. The improvements include chopping sagebrush and tilling in a nice grazing mix. A small developed spring adorns the ranch, providing stock water throughout the summer.

This large tract of Montana is home to several large game species throughout the year, such as mule deer and Rocky Mountain elk. Native sage grouse are common in the spring, summer and fall with several breeding grounds in the area. Dyce Creek Ranch is located a stones throw from the Pioneer Mountains and the vast Forest Service land that is available to the public. The recreational opportunities on these lands are endless. The University of Montana Western brings a diverse and vibrant feel to the community that is unique to a small Montana town. The Dillon airport is a paved runway long enough to handle most private aircraft and offers a full FBO. Nearby cities of Idaho Falls, Bozeman and Butte offer commercial air service. The area is rich with history. A trip through Bannack and the Grasshopper Valley, through the Big Hole Valley over to Wise River and Divide gives you a good look at what Lewis and Clark saw all those years ago. One can get a feel for the plight of the Nez Perce people at the Big Hole Battlefield monument. Dont forget the Henry Plummer Gang and the Gold Rush in Bannack.
