ACL Land and Cattle is located in the Northeast corner of Colorado in Sedgwick County, South of Julesburg. The ranch features 190+/- of irrigated acres, watered by 16 CFS of water rights, 160+/- acres of sub-irrigated acres, and 7,631+/- acres of pasture.

Land

ACL Land & Cattle has been meticulously managed and great efforts have been put into place to develop an intensive grazing program made up of multiple cross fenced pastures. The pastures have been broken down into roughly 160+/- acre paddocks. This feature has produced a cutting-edge grazing program to maximize the potential of the ranch, but also ensures long term success for native grasses to reach their original potential. The pastures are serviced by 10 solar wells along with several windmills. There is a pipeline system originating at the headquarters which feeds 4 tanks, along with a spring fed pipeline that supplies water to 4 additional tanks on the ranch.

ACL Land & Cattle features a large improvement yard which includes a 900 head grow yard, with roughly 1200 feet of concrete bunks. The corrals are pipe welded, and included a hydraulic chute, tub, and strong working facilities. There are numerus calving lean-tos that funnel their way to multiple turn-out pens. There are cement silos for silage located in the yard.

Recreation

ACL Land & Cattle is located in Colorado Big Game Unit 93. Wildlife is abundant on the property, including mule deer harvested over 200 inches in recent years. The ag fields provide upland bird hunting with a rebounding quail and pheasant population. The ranch sits adjacent to the Pony Express State Wildlife area which is 1677 acres. Whitetail-Deer, Turkeys, and Waterfowl thrive on the South Platte River bottom. The ranch meets the acreage requirements set forth by Colorado Parks and Wildlife to qualify for land owner hunting vouchers.

Agriculture

ACL Land & Cattle is being sold with 16 CFS of water rights. There is a deeded gallery pump located in the South Platte River that pumps water to the the center pivots on the ranch. There are 190+/- sprinkler irrigated acres, with one of the pivots being new this year. The farm ground is currently being leased by a long time farming family. A new owner would have the option to either continue the lease, or farm the acres themselves.
