- Location: The Double Knobs Mountain Ranch is located just 100 miles west of San Antonio and just 30 minutes north of Uvalde. The ranch is accessed approximately 6 miles down County Road 408, east of Highway 55, and then down a deeded easement. The ranch is accessible, yet very secluded for privacy. Located in beautiful transitional country, just a couple miles east of the Nueces River, where the terrain elevations begin to shift dramatically and the habitat is extremely diverse

- Land: The iconic centerpieces of the ranch are the "Double Knobs Mountains" that are both near 1950' in elevation and tower over the country below. This transitional country is rugged, but has good fertile topsoil in the valleys below and a mixed habitat of South Texas brush with pinion pine, providing excellent wildlife cover and habitat throughout the entire ranch. The numerous draws and valleys are lined with wet weather creeks and due to the remote and rugged nature of the ranch, this is a sanctuary for wildlife. The sellers have always been very selective with their whitetail harvest, setup some water and feed stations, and have excellent native South Texas genetics in the area. Selective cedar clearing in the valleys have really opened up some hunting setups and made the roads in the lower country easier to navigate.
