This tract is mostly planted in 3 & 4 year old pines with the exception of +/- 100 acres of upland mature hardwood that is exceptionally pretty. The whole road system is in great shape and there are two power lines that are nice for deer hunting. The property is located on Jackson Lake Road and has +/- 2,000 feet of narrow frontage on the Ocmulgee River just below the Jackson Lake Dam and +/- 1.4 miles of frontage on Herds Creek which is a really beautiful creek. My thoughts for the property would be for a subdivision now or grow the timber out and use it for recreation now and turn it into a subdivision later. The area around the lake is really growing from people out of the Atlanta area.
