Florida Gateway College calls Lake City home or you can choose to travel 45 minutes south to Gainesville where you will find the University of Florida and Santa Fe College.

Around Lake City you will find many different outdoor recreation opportunities from the Osceola National Forest, Stephen Foster State Park, Alligator Lake, Suwannee River, Falling Creek Falls, and the world famous crystal clear Ichetucknee River and Springs.
